BIO
Daphney Charles is a local tenured singer, songwriter and musician. Answering God’s calling, she has served as a choir director and worship leader for a few number of churches
and has traveled the United States performing on various stages.
She developed an enthusiasm for singing at the early age of nine. While committed to serving the Lord with her whole life, Daphney sought the educational experience to further enhance
her gift of worship by earning a Bachelor’s degree in Music at the College of Arts and Sciences at Rutgers University in Newark, New Jersey.
In 2012, Daphney produced her first music album entitled “Step Into The Light of God”.
In this album, she ushers the listeners into the very presence of God with her sweet, vocal instrument. She credits her love for singing as a gift from God and plans to continue traveling around the world utilizing her gift exclusively for the Lord.
